Kate McGarrigle died yesterday. Being sort of obsessed with the Wainwright family, this was very sad news to me. Here’s a song that was one of my favorites by Loudon Wainwright until I found out that it was written by Kate & Anna! Such talented ladies:

Oh : ( I saw this on my lunch break yesterday and thought of you. Sad, sad. I really love the long term sister performers thing. It’s so nice. And that video that Rufus and Martha made is so silly! Silly and nice! Those are some good qualities. And then there’s the musical talent too…
